Have your Health Pass in France? Instructions for use - LesFrancais.press
Already in force since July 21 in certain places of leisure and culture, this pass (total vaccination, negative covid test or certificate of recovery) is extended from this Monday, August 09 to cafes, restaurants, planes, trains, coaches for long journeys, fairs, seminars and trade shows.
3 options to have your French Health Pass.
If you are fully vaccinated
The conditions differ depending on the vaccine you used. For Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, you have to do both injections and wait two weeks after the 2nd injection. For Johnson & Johnson of Janssen, it is only necessary to make an injection but to wait four weeks. For people who have tested positive for covid, only one injection of one of these vaccines is needed, and one is considered fully vaccinated two weeks later.
It is therefore necessary to assert your rights a QR code. If you have been vaccinated in Europe, the QR code of your country of residence can be read by the French application and transformed into a QR valid in France. If you have not been vaccinated within the countries participating in the European program, then you must send the proof of vaccination to an email address dedicated to your geographical area and set up by the consular administration which you will find by clicking HERE.
Present a negative test within 72 hours
A negative PCR or antigen test for Covid-19 also acts as a health pass: be careful, it is the time at which the test was carried out that refers, and from which the 72-hour countdown starts. . All PCR and antigen tests or self-tests generate proof in the form of a QR code as soon as the professional enters the result. Note that the deadline has increased from 48 hours to 72 hours following the announcements of the French Minister of Health Olivier Veran this Sunday, August 08, 2021.
