The news was announced on Monday, as part of the unveiling of a new production company, PaNik Fiction. The company is the result of an association between Patrick Huard and Anik Jean, with the company Attraction and producer Antonello Cozzolino.

PaNik Fiction is already working on the production of La Source. The company is also working on a series inspired by the life of pilot Raymond Boulanger, who notably worked for Colombian drug cartels. Patrick Huard will play the main character of the show called Mercenary.
