The Moselle Departmental Council unveiled its €4.7 million plan on Monday June 7, 2021 to revive tourism in the department after a very difficult year in 2020 and a very difficult start to the year 2021 for the economy in reason of Covid-19.
The Department, through the voice of its president Patrick Weiten (again candidate for re-election in the context of the departmental elections, Editor's note), has thus presented a series of measures for the support and resumption of tourist activity . Here are the measures that will most directly benefit the public.

30-euro checkbooks for local consumption
In July and September 2021, the Departmental Council intends to relaunch its 2020 operation through two contests to win 10,000 30-euro checkbooks (six checks of 5 euros cumulative).
A first game will be organized in July to win 5,000 checkbooks of 30 euros valid in the traditional restaurants that are partners in the operation.
At the same time, the other 5,000 checkbooks will be up for grabs in July and September and will allow local consumption in partner shops.
Vouchers for associations for bus travel and caterers
Another measure this time aimed at supporting the resumption of activity of associations: vouchers worth 200 euros to finance travel groups with coach operators. The first 500 associations that request it will be able to benefit from it.
In addition, aid of the same amount will be granted to the first 500 associations that request it. This time, the 200 euros can be used at a participating caterer.
Requests for associations are made online at asso.mosl.fr.
