In order to help residents save money on their energy supplies, the town of Tréguier has signed a contract with the company Wikipower , which specializes in group energy purchases.

"Everyone always has the possibility of taking the individual step to change supplier, but it's a bit of an obstacle course, and the weight of individual negotiation is of course not comparable to the weight of collective negotiation", supports Marie – Pierre Bodin, first assistant.

How it works ?

The Wikipower company, which works a great deal with local authorities, like La Roche-Jaudy , which is renewing its contract with it, negotiates with some forty suppliers of large volumes of energy at advantageous rates on behalf of interested people. It also provides them with support, particularly for their change of supplier.

Public meeting on January 26

The inhabitants of Tréguier, but also of the territory, who wish to benefit from the advantages of these group purchases, can pre-register, without obligation and free of charge, until February 28 .

Once the best offer has been negotiated by Wikipower, each person will receive a personalized study around March 10 with an indication of the potential savings. Everyone will then be able to choose to subscribe definitively to the proposed offer, by the end of March.

A public meeting will take place on January 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the village hall of Tréguier.
